A new play field, Margaux Beach

A new 'dog-ok' park has opened just 5 minutes away from us!  I took my dogs down the next day as it was opened.

It's so easy, just walk down the slope in front of our apartment,

and here it is ! at the bottom of hill.  It's called Stanley Ma Hang Park.

The gate is opened between 7am(?) until 8pm daily.

All trails are made barrier-free.

Fitness deck.

From the top of the park, you can enjoy panoramic view of Stanley and Chung Hom Kok.  Stanley market is just 5min walk from here!

And here's today's highlight.  The park has an access to a beach which looks like the Margaux Beach we found accidentally last year, but we couldn't enter then because the trail was blocked!

No "No dog allowed" sign!  Yey!

It's a tiny beach but what more can I ask!  So close by and dogs are allowed!!

Both of them are liking it already!

"Love it here!"

"Hmm"  Tora is looking at something.

It was on the other beach beside us.

Ah, see it now!  It was wild dogs, playing on the sea shore.

On the way back, I found tiny birds lurking in the bush.  What are they?

Near the end of the trail, there was a display board which explained the birds were Yellow Bellied Prinia.  Great stuff for bird lovers!

"Pretty damn good park!"

It's great we found a new play field for the dogs!

Still bloody hot Hong Kong

Hong Kong has been so bloody hot as usual.  During this time, beaches are everyone's most favorite place.

Margaux does not try to go in water herself but she likes to retrieve sticks if we threw them in water.

Today, she found a large driftwood in the water.  How she did it?  Watch...

Lion Rock - Partially Wison Trail (W53-W55)

We dragged our nephew out of the bed and went to Lion Rock country park this morning.

The air is fresh and cooler in the morning here even in hot Hong Kong summer.

Plus, we wanted to show him these.  Wild monkeys.

The dogs loved their family came from the UK.  They were all over Conor, especially.  Let's hope we will see him soon again!

Souvenirs from the UK

My mother & father in law, plus our nephew came to visit us from the UK.
The dogs got their souvenirs and are very happy.
