Bleah~

Tora: 'Bleah~'

Margaux: 'Bleah~ back at you!'    Tora: (crackle)

Margaux's ear

Margaux's left ear...

Something odd is going on.

'wha? me?'

Margaux has droopy ears and they don't stand up normally,

but occasionally they do, with a perfectly balanced folding line..

'Stop scratching, it goes back...'

'ah, it's still there (phew)'

'what's wrong with me?  eh?'

Humph..

A view from the back

It was a day of discovering Margaux's new ear style!

Ocean Park

My friend from France was visiting Hong Kong with her family, so we went to check out Ocean Park today.  Ocean Park is known to be one of the best amusement theme parks in the world and has much better reputation than HK Disneyland.

The park is mainly divided into two areas and you can travel freely between two by cable car.

Let me show you some of the creatures we've seen today.

First, today's highlight, Panda!  Yes, it's Ocean Park, but hey why not Panda!

He was back-resting on a rock.  Look at here.

(Closeup)
This flabby skin is so irresistible.  It makes me want to squeeze him with a huge hug.

Otter (clever animal)

Jelly fish (many different kind)

In aquarium, we saw Manta ray,

Sea turtle,

whale shark, etc..

We also got to see red pandas in the end.

On top of those, there supposed to be popular shows like sea lion and dolphin, but they were closed today due to break period.   The park is currently undergoing expansion works and looks to be increasing the number of attractions in near future. If you were visiting Hong Kong with the small ones, please visit Ocean Park, it's highly recommended!

Candy!  It was so nice to be able to see you and your family again, this time in Hong Kong!  Though, it was short time, I am glad that we made another beautiful memory of us.  N-chan was such an adorable and affectionate kid as ever.  Hope you guys come visit Margaux and Tora soon again!

Good bye, Wan Chai Waterfront Promenade

I heard that Wan Chai Waterfront Promenade (as described in the past post) was closing on January 27th, so I took the dogs to the park for the last run.

The doggy we often see in the morning stroll was there as well.

I guess this is the last time we meet here.

So sad this place is closing, it was the only oasis for dogs in the city..

Well, let's hope we will find another park like this somewhere..
Thank you, Wan Chai Waterfront Promenade.

Margaux's Sleeping Style (1)

I will be reporting you Margaux's funny sleeping styles in a series from now on.
Hope you'll enjoy!

Introducing today is her most unique sleeping style, 'human-like sleeping' style.

Margaux often sleeps on her back like this, like human.

She doesn't mind where

doesn't care to be seen,

and has absolutely no sense of

danger.

Tora does similar but not quite the same as Margaux.

Sleeping like human in her small round bed is tricky.

She has to throw her paws in the air.

Her head goes completely upside down,

and reveals the fearsome canine..  It's a monster!

'wha?  talking about hoo? mee?'

When she wakes up though, she returns to cute sweet Margaux all back again!
